Layout Engineer – [REF LAIP02]

MIPEX, an IC design center based in Cairo, is seeking exceptional team members who are eager to work on cutting edge projects utilizing the latest technologies and tools.
The following position is currently required:

Layout Engineer – [REF LAIP02]

Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering.
- 0-4 Years of experience in custom IC layout techniques.
- EDA tools used in analog IC design
- Physical verification DRC/LVS/DFM/ERC
- Knowledge in basic analog design techniques is essential
- Knowledge in Unix/Linux operating system is a plus
- Knowledge in shell scripting/programming languages is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Physical implementation (layout) of mixed signal circuits
- Physical verification including DRC/LVS/DFM/ERC and other checks
- Plan the placement of major circuit components in an overall physical design
- Working with design engineers to ensure layout quality
- Releasing design to tapeout and generating all necessary files
- Automation of custom layout and porting using scripting languages.
