R&D CAD Engineer

Calibre Design To Silicon Engineering team is looking for 2 candidates to work on an R&D project for High Frequency Parasitic Extraction

Part/full time employment possibility

Job Requirements:

The individual will be responsible to:
  • Study and research different methodologies for characterizing High Frequency complex interconnect structures 
  • Build a prototype that utilize a number of Mentor Graphics tools such as Eldo RF and HyperLynx 3D EM 
  • Investigate the integration of the intended prototype with Calibre Extraction Engine 
  • Job Qualifications:
Must have:

  • BSc Electrical Engineering with grade Very Good or higher 
  • Basic Knowledge of Integrated Circuit Design and Fabrication process
  • Basic knowledge of parasitic extraction in ICs
  • Knowledge in Unix/Linux operating system environments 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

Nice to have 1 or more of the below qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Electromagnetic simulators as well as circuit simulators
  • Knowledge of Calibre LVS and Calibre Parasitic Extraction
  • Knowledge of Modeling concepts
  • Knowledge of Programming/Scripting languages such as, C/C++, shell scripting or Perl is an asset
