It aims to be a leading research and teaching university in Egypt and the region. It has an undergraduate population of some 5000 students, spanning six faculties, with plans for substantial growth. The Faculty of Engineering is one of the leading faculties at the BUE, with a scope covering research and teaching in many disciplines. The Electrical Engineering Department is seeking highly-motivated academic staff for employment on a full-time basis. The vacancies available will cover all the ranks of Lecturers, Senior Lecturers (Associated Professor) or Professors. The workload covers teaching, research, and the related admin duties. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a closely related field. A good track record of research publications in international journals is also expected. Teaching experience in the subjects of Electronics and Communications (undergraduate/postgraduate levels) is highly desirable. Experience in running research projects, supervision of student projects, and leading project groups is an advantage. The positions are available immediately for the successful candidates.
