Silicon photonics Researcher

The Nanophotonics research laboratory (NRL) at the AUC has an opening position for a research assistant in the area of modelling, design and fabrication of silicon photonics. The project is joint with ITIDA and Mentor Graphics for developing new methodology for silicon photonics using CMOS technology. The suitable candidate should have BSc. In physics or Electronic Engineering with High GPA. The following experiences will be considered as assets; optical modelling background and/or electromagnetic theory and /or standard fabrication and/ or optical characterization. The duration of this project is 20-24 months.
