Application Developers 

ThirdWayvInc. is seeking highly motivated servers S/W and mobile application developers to fill senior and junior positions at its development center in Cairo

Role Description:

• Develop Android and/or iPhone apps to communicate with backend server.
  
• Create n-tier applications on Windows-based technologies.
  
• Collaborate with team in an open, supportive environment.
  
• Design and develop applications using agile development processes.
  
• Solve challenging problems; work effectively with others to come up with the best solution.
  
• Use object-oriented programming languages, as well as client and server applications development processes, and Internet technology.
  
• Consult with leadership and software architect to ensure agreement on system principles.
  
• Adhere to good development practices: documentation, code standards, code/design reviews, optimization and maintainability.
  
• Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.
  
• Strive to learn new skills to further enhance performance.
  
• Act as project lead on systems modifications or new applications that expand or modify software to improve performance and enhance the UX.
  
• Communicate new skills & tools and mentor other team members.
  

Technical Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering and/or equivalent experience.
  
• 0-5 years of experience.
  
• Strong C# programming skills.
  
• Android development and/or iPhone development.
  
• Solid experience designing and implementing multi-threaded applications and high availability servers.
  
• In-depth understanding of Microsoft SQL Server databasesand relational database design.
  
• In-depth understanding of T-SQ including Stored Procedure, Triggers.
  
• Solid understanding of SOA, and OOD.
  
• Good understanding of web services and WCF in particular.
  
• .NET GUI development using WinForms or WPF
  
• Experience in Visual Studio suite of products.
  
• Experience in TFS including all ALM aspects.
  
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team displaying a good natured cooperative attitude.
  
• Detail oriented and able to work in fast-paced, team-orientated environment.
  
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines and objectives.
  
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  
• Demonstrated ability to make decision that ensures quick resolution of events and provide recommendations and expertise to enhance system performance and availability.
  
• Strong desire to research and determine unique, yet appropriate ways to integrate new technologies into an existing infrastructure.

• Xamarin  Studio experience
  
• ASP.NET
  
• Agile and Scrum processes.
  
• UML
