Biography
Eng. Hossam Ahmed is a staff engineer at Samsung Cambridge Solution Center, UK. He received his BSc in electronics and communication systems from Cairo university in 2006. He has more than 7 years of experience in embedded software development and testing, multicore programming and wireless networks protocol stacks. He contributed in the design/development/testing of the protocol stacks of the following standards: WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/e/i) and LTE for Intel and BlackBerry. He is a former instructor in the ITI at the embedded systems track. He worked for a number of reputable corporations as SySDSoft, Valeo, Intel and BlackBerry and currently working on design, development and implementation of WLAN firmware for the WLAN system part of Samsung future CMOS connectivity chips in Samsung electronics.
Abstract
This seminar aims at:
Giving an introduction to embedded systems based on wireless based communication systems (for example WiFi/LTE).
Providing a clear overview about the career to the attendees and answering their queries.
Helping the attendees to know all the information needed about the embedded systems in general and about the wireless embedded systems specifically.
